Combat Diaries
OK, as I said in a previous post, I’m in Indianapolis for systems training this week, so I’ve been read the Da Vinci Code and watching more TV than I normally do. Last night, on A&E, there was a show called Combat Diary featuring Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines, a reserve unit out of Columbus, Ohio that was deployed to Iraq from February 28-September 30, 2005. They had the heaviest losses of any unit in Iraq (so far) and they have alot of video diary “footage” which lets the public see another, more vivid side of this war. Please watch it at one of these times:
Upcoming Airings:
Saturday, May 27 @ 8pm/7C
Sunday, May 28 @ 12am/11C
Sunday, May 28 @ 1pm/12C
Monday, May 29 @ 8am/7C
Monday, May 29 @ 2pm/1C
Saturday, June 03 @ 11am/10C
Also, Beth at My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy had a great link about the Cross and Veterans Memorial at Mt. Soledad in San Diego — which is currently under attack from the left wingers.
PLEASE, buy a poppy, fly your American Flag and, as always, remember a Vet on Memorial Day! God Bless
